Eye Witness to the Persecution During 10 Days in Custody in China

Following a 10 day ordeal in the custody of China's notorious secret police, Australian citizen and Falun Gong practitioner Nancy Chen was finally released on the eve of the Lunar New Year. Her rescue was in no small part due to the diligence of Australian Consular personnel, two of whom flew to the city of Chengdu in Sichuan province where Nancy was being held, to negotiate her release. Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the Australian National Day Grand Parade

On January 26, Australia National Day, local Falun Gong practitioners participated in a grand celebration parade in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. The Falun Gong procession with its Lotus dance, Fan dance, decorated float and Tang Dynasty costume show won applause from the audience. Read Full Story

Charles Li


Dr. Charles Li, an American Citizen and practitioner of Falun Gong, was detained after arriving at the Guangzhou Airport on January 22, 2003. He is facing a sentence of up to 15 years in a Chinese prison on dubious charges, and is only allowed 30 minutes per month of contact with the US Embassy.
