  • US Congress Holds Hearing on CCP's Organ Harvesting from Living Falun Gong Practitioners (Photos)

    Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and Democratic Congressman William Delahunt of Massachusetts

    September 29, 2006, the United States Congress held its first hearing on allegations of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
    More than 100 people, including House representatives, legislative assistants, officials and advisers from the US government, and reporters attended the hearing.

  • URGENT ACTION from Amnesty International Australia

    Beijing Falun Gong practitioner Mr BU Dongwei

    Bu Dongwei, also known as David Bu, was assigned to two-and-a-half years' "Re-education through Labour" (RTL) on 19 June in connection with his activities as a member of the Falun Gong spiritual movement. He is detained at an undisclosed location, and Amnesty International considers him to be a prisoner of conscience. He is at serious risk of torture or ill-treatment.

    I am Father John and I am the Priest of the Greek Orthodox Church in Burwood, NSW. I am not a Falun Gong practitioner but I am deeply concerned about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. As an Australian citizen, a Christian, and a human being, I would like to ask for your attention and voice out on this great significant issue that Falun Gong practitioners in China are being arrested, tortured and harvested for human organs then cremated.
