  • International Forum Held to Consider Extending Human Rights Torch Relay into Mainland China in Advance of 2008 Olympics (Photos)

    In order for the Chinese people to see a world with the same human rights, the Forum announced the launching of a plan to promote the Human Rights Torch Relay into China by the end of March, 2008 in response to the Chinese people's call for human rights and against the Olympic Games.

    According to sources from Beijing, from the end of 2007 to early this year, at least 100 Falun Gong practitioners with confirmed names (oftentimes practitioners do not reveal their true identity to protect family, friends and colleagues) have been arrested in Beijing.
