I support the right of Falun Gong practitioners everywhere to practise their peaceful beliefs without persecution or harassment by the Chinese Communist Party. I further call upon the Australian government and all world leaders to defend freedom of belief, as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, by insisting that the Chinese Communist Party abide by the terms of these treaties and unconditionally release all Falun Gong practitioners in custody and cease all forms of persecution of Falun Gong.
